Basketball

Aside from the following special betting rules, the common betting rules apply. The special rules will take precedence over the common rules nevertheless.

1.) Overtime: If not otherwise stated, bets will be settled on the result including overtime, e.g. bets referring to the second half.
a.) 1st half contains quarter 1 and quarter 2, 2nd half contains quarter 3 and quarter 4. Overtime does not count for bets concerning the 4th quarter unless otherwise stated.
2.) Date/Site Changes: Regular season Basketball games must be played on the scheduled date/location (location is a geographical area or city but not restricted to a specific arena or venue) to be considered action unless otherwise noted in the specific sports rules section or the inventory game page within the mobile application or web browser application.
3.) Minimum Length of Play: For wagering purposes, unless otherwise stipulated in individual Basketball sports wager rules, NBA results are official after 43 minutes of play. College Basketball, WNBA, NBA Summer League and European Basketball are official after 35 minutes of play. If minimum length of play isn’t reached, all bets will be void except for those markets which have been unconditionally determined.
4.) Big 3, 3x3, the Basketball Tournament, other basketball events: Wagers will be settled based on official event rules. In the event of a game starting but not being completed for any reason, all wagers on the game are cancelled, except for those markets which have been unconditionally determined.
5.) Bet settlement: Markets will be settled based on the official score provider or official website of the relevant competition. Where these are not available, bets will be settled based on our own statistics. Bets will be settled at the time of completion and will not be amended by subsequent appeals or disqualifications.
6.) Match Format:  If a match is offered with the wrong match format, then all bets will be voided. E.g. if a match is offered in 4x10 minute format, but they are playing 4x12 minute then all bets will be voided.
7.) Abandoned Matches: In the event of a match starting but not being completed for any reason, all markets will be void, except for those markets which are already decided (e.g. race to 10 points or 1st Quarter Winner) that have been unconditionally determined.
8.) Postponed Matches: Any bets on a game not played on the scheduled date will be declared void, however if a match in an international tournament (e.g. Olympics, World Championship) is postponed, bets will stand providing the match is rescheduled to take place before the end of tournament or Olympic closing ceremony.

Betting Markets

9.) Highest Scoring X: Highest scoring quarters: All four quarters of play must be completed. Overtime does not count. If the game is abandoned, then all bets will be void unless there have already been scored most points in the 4th quarter at the time of abandonment. In the event of a tie between 2 or more quarters then dead heat rules apply.
Highest Scoring Half: Both halves of play must be completed. Overtime does not count. If the game is abandoned, then all bets will be void unless there have already been scored most points in the 2nd half at the time of abandonment. In the event of both halves having the same amount of total points bets will be void.
11.) Half Time / Full Time: Overtime does count unless otherwise stated.
11.) Highest Team Points (Group betting):
If a team is involved in an abandoned event, then the points this team has made before abandonment do count and all bets are valid. If one of the involved teams’ matches does not start on the scheduled calendar day (at venue) and venue for whatever reasons, then all bets will be void.
12.) First Foul in the Game/Half/Quarter: This bet refers to all kinds of fouls – including personal and technical fouls. This rule also applies to subsequent fouls.
13.) First Foul Out: Bets will be settled on the first player to be “fouled out” as a result of 6 fouls in “American” and 5 fouls in “Non-American” Basketball called against the player in the game. Technical fouls and ejections do not count for this bet.
14.) Division Champions: If the season is shortened for any reason, then bets will be settled based on the Division Champion declared by the respective governing authority.
15.) Draw/Push: If a moneyline, total or handicap bet ends in a draw and no odds have been offered for this option, all bets will be void.
16.) Player special bets: The respective player must compete in the game for bets to stand. For these or similar markets, concerning individual player's match stats, overtime is included; with match / group bets on players' totals, dead heat rules will apply. To Record a Double-Double - Player must record 10 or more in TWO of the following 5 statistical categories: Points, Rebounds, Assists, Blocks, Steals. To Record a Triple-Double - Player must record 10 or more in THREE of the following 5 statistical categories: Points, Rebounds, Assists, Blocks, Steals.
 17.) Race to x Statistic:

Should neither team/player reach the specified statistic, and a ‘Neither’ option is not offered, then bets on that market will be cancelled. Bets are cancelled on a player who does not take part in the match or who comes on as a substitute after the specified statistic has been recorded.
18.) Player Most Statistic: Bets on which player will have the highest number of the specified statistic. If a player not listed is deemed the winner, all bets stand. Dead heat rules apply.
19.) Half/Quarterly Betting Prices: The following rules apply: prices are offered on which team will win a specific quarter/half irrespective of the score going into that period; if the score in that period is a tie, then bets on both sides are void except for where a price has been offered for a draw; overtime is not included for fourth quarter betting. Bets are void if the specified period is not completed unless result is already determined.
20.) First Field Goal/Assist/Rebounds/Block/etc: Wager on which player will score the first stated statistic in a basketball match. Wagers are cancelled on a player who does not take part in the match or who comes on as a substitute after the first stated statistic has been recorded. If a player not listed is deemed the winner, then all bets stand. Field goals scored in own basket do not count for first field goal scorer bets and are ignored for settlement purposes

21.) Player Regular Season Specials & Match BetsL A named player must meet the relevant qualifying criteria below for bets to stand, otherwise bets on that player will be made void:

Average points / Rebounds / Assists / Steals / Blocks / Fouls / Turnovers per game: The player must play in at least 70% of his team's regular season games
Average field goal percentage: The player must make at least 300 field goals during the season
Average 3-point percentage: The player must make at least 82 3-point field goals during the season
All averages will be rounded to one decimal point for settlement purposes.

Basketball Build a Bet Rules: Basketball Build a Bet rules are the same as Basketball rules stated above, with the following exceptions.

Bet Settlement (For Build a Bet): All basketball Build a Bet selections must win (no ties, draws or pushes) for a bet to be deemed a winner. A selection that does not win, unless explicitly specified in the Basketball Build a Bet  Rules, will be settled as a loser. If one or more selections in any bet are resulted as cancelled for any reason (such as a selected player not participating in the match), the entire bet will be resulted as cancelled. For instance, selections on a team to win a match where it is a draw after overtime (or normal time if no overtime is to be played), even where the draw or tie may not have been offered through Build a Bet, will be settled as losers. This will not be relevant to NBA or NBL matches as they play repeated overtime periods until a team wins but may be applicable to other basketball leagues or competitions as per their individual competition rules.
Overtime (For Build a Bet): All basketball matches will be settled on the official declared result including any overtime.
Player Specific Markets (For Build a Bet): All player selections will be considered active if a player enters the court as an active player at any point of the relevant match, regardless of whether the selection in question references a specific period of the match. If a player never enters the court during a match, selections specific to that player will be cancelled. For instance, a selection on a certain player to score 10.5+ points in the second half would be active (and therefore settled as a loser) if that player played the first two minutes of a match, was injured, and did not return to the game, regardless of having never been on the court during the second half. However, if that player was injured shortly before the game commenced, was withdrawn from the starting lineup (or bench) and never took to the court, the selection and therefore bet would be cancelled.
Race to X Points (For Build a Bet): Race to X’ selections where neither team reaches the selected score will be settled as losers, regardless of whether a ‘neither team to reach X’ selection was available as an alternate selection or not.
Second Half / Fourth Quarter Markets (For Build a Bet): All second half and fourth quarter market selections do include overtime periods if they occur. For example, a total second half points selection would include the points scored in both the second half and any overtime periods played.
Postponed Matches (For Build a Bet): Where a game is postponed or incomplete, and subsequently resumed or played within 24 hours (inclusive) of the original scheduled start time, all bets will stand. All bets placed on games played which commence more than 24 hours past the originally scheduled start time will be cancelled. Once the 24 hours have expired, all bets are cancelled and stakes will be refunded.
Cancelled Matches (For Build a Bet): If a game is abandoned prior to commencement, it falls within the 24-hour rule for postponed matches as described above. If it is abandoned after commencing but before its natural end point, the following rules apply: Build a Bets will be cancelled if they include at least one selection involving a player who has not yet entered the court as an active player. The rules outlined below are all applied subject to and subsequent to the application of this rule. If every selection within a Build a Bet on the game is already a winner where the fact of abandonment had no impact on the outcome of each selection, the Build a Bet in its entirety will be treated as a winner. For example, a 2-leg Build a Bet containing an over total points selection and a certain player to score 10.5+ points, in a game where the required points have been reached and the player did score more than 10 points before the game was subsequently abandoned, will be treated as a winner. In this case, the abandonment had no impact on either selection. The same would not apply to an under total points selection where a game is abandoned while the total score is still under the chosen number, as the abandonment would impact that outcome. If a single selection of a Build a Bet is lost and a match is then abandoned, the Build a Bet will be treated as a loser, where regardless of the fact of abandonment, the selection(s) in question had been irrevocably concluded. For example, a Build a Bet including a first player to score selection, in a game where a different player scored first and the match was subsequently then abandoned, will be treated as a loser. In this case, the bet had already lost, and this outcome could not be affected in any way by whether the game was subsequently abandoned or not. If there are no losing selections within a Build a Bet and at least one cancelled selection at the time of a match abandonment, the Build a Bet will be treated as cancelled. This rule applies where one or more selections are still undecided at abandonment and may have won or lost if the game had been completed as scheduled. For example, a Build a Bet including an over total points selection, in a game abandoned while the total points are still below the required amount, will be treated as cancelled. In this case, the total points selection was still undecided and may have won or lost but for the abandonment, so the bet will be cancelled.
Venue Changes (For Build a Bet): If the venue of a game is changed from the one advertised, all bets on that game will be cancelled.
